Overview of Research Centers: Food Safety and Nutraceutical Science Center

At Kagawa University Faculty of Agriculture, food safety research such as detection of infectious microbes and mycotoxins, reduction of agrochemical usage, pesticide residue examination, and functional food research such as examinations of nutritional characterization, texture, and functional components are in progress by joint research with institutions of Kagawa prefecture and overseas institutes. We support the development of the food industry by developing solutions to problems related to health and food safety. We contribute to the maintenance of a safe and comfortable life for human health by the development of secure foods.foodsafety
