Recent Research

1. Establishment of a novel chemical library

Chemical libraries contribute to drug discoveries. We are collecting bioactive molecules from natural sources and synthesizing unnatural compounds to create a novel small molecule library.

2. Screening for migration/proliferation inhibitors

Migration of endometrial cells is a cause behind common diseases such as adenomyosis and endometriosis.  We are working on developing a rapid screening method for migration/proliferation inhibitors as novel medicinal seeds.

3. Mechanisms of action of bioactive compounds

We are trying to elucidate the mode of action of isolated bioactive molecules by biochemical and cell biological approaches.
