This international internship program has been organized through the collaboration of&nbsp;Prof. Dr. Peter Lutes, Chair of the International Exchange Committee at Kagawa University, and&nbsp;Lect. Dr. Atittaya Tandhanskul, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Global Academic Development and Industrial Collaboration at Assumption University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Internship Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>March 28 \u2013 June 1, 2025<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The internship program has been designed to provide visiting students with a comprehensive academic and cultural experience. Activities have been scheduled across research laboratories, academic departments, and regional agricultural sites. The program has been structured as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>March 28\u201331:<\/strong><br>The interns arrive in Japan and formally received by the host institution. Orientation sessions were conducted to introduce the Faculty of Agriculture, its educational programs, and facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April 1\u20135:<\/strong><br>Initial research placements, where students were introduced to ongoing projects and methodologies. Supervisor: Prof. Lutes <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April 7\u201322:<\/strong><br>Departmental rotations are facilitated, allowing interns to engage with faculty and research activities across various disciplines, including the&nbsp;<strong>Food Science Area<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Plant Science<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Biomolecular Chemistry<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Environmental and Ecological Functions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>April\u2013May (Ongoing):<\/strong><br>Laboratory research will be carried out under the guidance of&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dr. Yamaguchi<\/strong>&nbsp;(Environmental Science Group) and&nbsp;<strong>Assoc. <strong>Prof. Dr. <\/strong> Yanagita<\/strong>&nbsp;(Animal Science Group). Weekly academic sessions were also held, including:<ul><li><strong>International Communication Seminars<\/strong>&nbsp;led by Dr. Prof. Lutes and Lect. Dr. Khalife <\/li><\/ul><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><ul><li><strong>Japanese Language Classes<\/strong>&nbsp;coordinated by <strong>Assoc. Prof. Takamizu<\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);\">Assoc. Prof.<\/span> Shioi<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>Additional highlights of the program have included a guided industry visit to&nbsp;<strong>Sanuki Mengyo Co., Ltd.<\/strong>, and a hands-on workshop on ice cream production using rare sugars, led by&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dr. Ogawa<\/strong>, Dean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>May 29:<\/strong><br>A&nbsp;<strong>Final Presentation and Closing Ceremony<\/strong>&nbsp;will be held\\. Attendees will include Professors Ogawa, Kawamura, Lutes, Yonekura, Ishii, and others involved in hosting and mentoring the interns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>June 1:<\/strong><br>The interns will return to Thailand, concluding the two-month training and exchange program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hosting Faculty<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr.  Lutes<\/strong>, Applied Communication Lab<br>Responsible for overall program and initial training.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr.  Yamaguchi<\/strong>, Coastal Biogeochemistry Lab<br>Responsible for supervising research activities.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assoc.
