(Characteristics)

The subspecies inhabits the westernmost small island in the distribution of the Poseidon-Subspecies-Group. It is extremely odd that both ♂ and ♀ of this subspecies have a completely different morphology from the nominate ssp. priamus on the neighboring islands of Seram and Ambon, and rather the resemblance to the distant New Guinea ssp. poseidon.

♂: Unfortunately, specimens are scarce, and the author has never seen this species, but it is difficult to distinguish it from ssp. poseidon from the original description and photograph of type specimen.

♀: The ground color of FW/HW is dark brown.
