We presently\u3000study the mechanism of cyclamen petals becoming bluish color, expression of anthocyanin and flavonoid synthesis-related gene in cyclamen, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff12\uff0e<\/strong><strong>Interspecific hybridization and polyploidy breeding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp; in the genus <em>Cyclamen<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">The genus <em>Cyclamen<\/em> contains more than 20 species. Almost all the species, except <em>C. persicum<\/em>, have not contributed to the breeding of horticultural cyclamen cultivars, whereas some <em>Cyclamen<\/em> species have useful characteristics. In our laboratory, interspecific hybridization by using such <em>Cyclamen<\/em> species is studied. Polyploidy breeding by using such species and interspecific hybrids is also researched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff13\uff0e<\/strong><strong>Analyses of mechanisms of pigmentation and&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp; flower-color expression in some ornamental plants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Mechanisms of flower-color expression and pigmentation in some ornamental plants (e.g., Persian buttercup and glory lily) are studied.
