enzyme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rare sugar is defined as monosaccharides and its derivatives that exist in the natural world only in a minute amount.\u00a0 Ongoing studies in our laboratory aim to\u00a0 develop production system of rare sugars using microbial enzymes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>2.\u3000Biochemical analysis of isomerases<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chiral compounds such as sugars and amino acids exert various physiological effects.\u00a0 However, their origins and functions have not been completely explained yet.\u00a0 Our researches focus on isomerization reactions
