発展的な教育:トレーニング＆ワークスキルのための英語
活動期間：2年間 2021年4月～2023年3月
このプロジェクトは、当初2020年4月～2022年3月の予定でしたが、世界的なコロナウイルス感染症の流行により、一時保留となっていました。現在も感染症流行による「渡航禁止」状況下に対応するため、活動範囲を狭めている状態です。しかし、少しでも皆様のお役に立てるような教材作りに精進してまいりますので、ご協力いただける方を積極的に募集しております。
活動場所: カンボジア、日本
目的 :このプロジェクトは、カンボジアのトレーニングセンターとカンボジアの大学に焦点を当てて以下のことを行います。
– 英語学習者の要望や 将来的な英語学習への意欲を調査する。
– 特にRTCにおいて、教育者の教育学的支援と教材支援に関する要望を調査する。
– カンボジアの需要に対応するために開発された教材を、日本のWebサーバーで提供することで、低価格・維持管理の容易な教材支援システムを構築します。
このプログラムは語学学習に重点を置いていますが、完成すれば技術的・科学的なトレーニングなど、他の重要な分野においてカンボジアの若者が直面する障壁を軽減するためのモデルとなることが期待されます。

現在、技術系プログラム（EFL/ESP）を持つ大学や地域トレーニングセンター（RTC）で教育者または管理者として働いている協力者を募集します。P.I.と協力して公開用教材の作成にご協力いただけるEFL/ESPの教育関係者を募集します。

P.I.と協力して、公開用教材の寄稿やデザインを希望するEFL/ESP教育者を募集します。
Developmental Education: English language for training & work skills
Duration: 2 years April 2021 – March 2023
This project was initially schedule for April 2020 – March 2022 but was put ON HOLD because of the Global Coronavirus Pandemic. We are still adapting to the working with “no travel” conditions imposed by the pandemic, and have narrowed our current focus as a result. However, we pushing forward with making materials that we will be useful and are actively seeking people that would like to assist.
Locations: Cambodia, Japan
Focus: This project will focus on Cambodian Training Centers and Cambodian universities to:
• investigate the needs of English language needs and aspirations for future studies of English language learners
• investigate the needs of educators in terms of pedagogical support and training materials support, particularly at the RTCs
• develop a materials support system that relies on upfront, low cost, low maintenance technology in Cambodia, supported by open source teaching material developed specifically designed to meet needs in Cambodia, and hosted (initially) on a web server in Japan.
While this program is language learning focused, once completed it may serve as a model for reducing barriers faced by Cambodia youth in other key areas, such as technical or scientific training.
