The Graduate School of Agriculture at Kagawa University offers advanced education and research opportunities at the Master’s and Doctoral levels within a unified academic division, the Division of Applied Biological Science and Rare Sugar Sciences.

Our graduate programs cover a wide range of fields in agriculture, food science, and biosciences, and are designed to prepare students for research careers, professional leadership, and further academic study.

Programs are offered in English or Japanese, and applicants may choose their preferred language of instruction.
Students enrolled in English-taught programs receive Japanese language classes to support daily life and academic communication in Japan.

In addition, the Graduate School offers the Special Master’s Program in Sustainable Food Production and Management (SFPM). This program is conducted in Japanese and includes structured Japanese-language support for professional and professional career development.
