✦ Double Degree with Chiang Mai University (Thailand)
Kagawa University’s Graduate School of Agriculture offers a double degree program in partnership with Chiang Mai University in Thailand. Under this program, students are enrolled simultaneously in the Graduate School of Agriculture at both universities. By completing the required coursework and research, students can earn two master’s degrees — one from Kagawa University and one from Chiang Mai University.
This double degree structure uses a credit transfer system that allows students to complete both degrees in a shorter time than studying separately at each institution. Students benefit from the guidance of faculty members from both universities and gain international experience in advanced agricultural sciences.
✦ Double Degree with National Chiayi University (Taiwan)
Kagawa University has also signed a double degree cooperation agreement with National Chiayi University (NCYU) in Taiwan. The agreement was formally concluded through an online signing ceremony on December 10, 2025.
Under this framework, students enrolled in the Graduate School of Agriculture at both Kagawa University and NCYU can study in cross-border academic settings and earn master’s degrees from both universities after satisfying the requirements of each institution.
This initiative deepens the international partnership between Japan and Taiwan, enhances student mobility, and builds intercultural competencies essential for global careers.
