International Exchange & Educational Program for Food Safety 2015

This week, the International Exchange and Educational Program for Food Safety began with an opening ceremony at Saiwaicho Campus. The program participants are 28 students representing 20 universities from 10 different countries. They will study issues relating to food safety, as well as Japanese culture and language over the course of the next 31 days at the Faculty of Agriculture. This program is hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, and Japanese language training is provided by the International Office.

During the opening ceremony, students introduced themselves to faculty members and met the Vice President of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Kakeihi. Students from Brazil, the Philippines, and Turkey received welcome gifts from the Vice President on behalf of all the participants.
