Kagawa University Agriculture

The College of Agriculture of Chiayi University, Taiwan hosted an internship for 6 students and two faculty members from the Faculty of Agriculture of Kagawa Unversity. Interns visited Chiayi from December 2 to December 7, 2018.

The visit began with a warm welcome from the Vice-President of Chiayi University and the Dean of the College of Agriculture to the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of Kagawa Unversity.

At the College of Agriculture, interns had the opportunity to:

1. Visit NCYU Laboratories
2. Discuss their research with NCYU Professors individually at the labs
3. Visit the Campus & Library Complex
4. Visit the Insect Museum
5. Visit the Horticultural Technology Center
6. Visit the
7. Visit the
8. Visit the Southern Museum

They also visited

• the Honey Museum in Tainan-City
• a coffee factory in Tainan-City

Kagawa University Faculty gave presentations on:
-Vegetable Crops Production under Climatic Change in Japan
-Academic Opportunities for International Students at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kagawa University
-Career Development Program on Food Safety
