Prof. Peter Lutes, Chair of the International Exchange Committee of the Faculty of Agriculture and Graduate School of Agriculture, recently visited two leading institutions in Hanoi: Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). The visit marked both the beginning of an exciting new relationship and the renewal of an established and productive collaboration.
At Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Professor Lutes met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Nguyen, Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. Discussions focused on exploring potential areas for student exchange, joint research initiatives, and future academic cooperation. Both sides expressed strong interest in developing a structured partnership beginning with faculty dialogue and mobility opportunities for students and researchers. At Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Professor Lutes met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thi Minh Tu, Head of the Food Engineering Department, and Dr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Deputy Head of the Department. Building on existing academic connections, discussions centered on expanding student internships, strengthening joint research collaboration, and deepening institutional ties. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to practical cooperation and sustained academic exchange.
