The 2026 Short Visit (SV) Program of Kagawa University officially began on February 16, 2026, and will continue through February 27, 2026. The opening ceremony was held at the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University, Thailand.

The welcome ceremony was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Samatcha Krungkaew and began with Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchanee Yasurin, Dean of the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, opening the ceremony with welcoming remarks to students and faculty members from the Faculty of Agriculture, Kagawa University. Following the opening session, students from Assumption University and Kagawa University introduced themselves and shared their academic backgrounds and study interests, setting a positive foundation for the program.
To conclude the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Peter LUTES and Lect. Dr. Adam KHALIFE delivered closing remarks, emphasizing the value of continued academic exchange and collaboration. The Short Visit Program has been operating for more than ten years and stands as a symbol of the strong and cooperative partnership between Assumption University and Kagawa University.
We are delighted to participate in this year’s program and look forward to a productive internship period, meaningful academic exchange, and continued growth of cooperation between both institutions.
