On February 17-18, Lect. Dr. Adam Khalife of the Kagawa University Faculty and Graduate School of Agriculture visited Silpakorn University, Thailand, to discuss academic opportunities and research cooperation between the two insitutions.
The visit started with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Pramote Khuwijitjaru, Head of the Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Busarakorn Mahayothee, Director of the Silpakorn University Food Innovation Hub (SUFIH). Discussions focused on research activities and innovations in food science and ended with a tour of the Sanam Chandra Palace Campus in Nakhon Pathom.
The next day, Lect. Dr. Adam Khalife met with Assist. Prof. Dr. Arunsri Leejeerajumnean, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, to discuss faculty-level cooperation and student exchange opportunities. Later, Assist. Prof. Dr. Khwanjai Klinchongkon led an interactive visit of the laboratories and facilities in the Department of Food Technology.
Lect. Dr. Adam Khalife also gave a presentation on undergraduate and graduate study opportunities at the Faculty and Graduate School of Agriculture, attended by 13 prospective undergraduate students. This visit helped strengthen academic ties between Kagawa University and Silpakorn University, and we are looking forward to more years of fruitful collaboration.
