The 2nd Kagawa University • Hanoi University of Science and Technology International Internship will be held in summer holiday of 2023 at the School of Biotechnology and Food Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Overview (easy English)

The Kagawa University • Hanoi University of Science and Technology International Internship is held at the School of biotechnology of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Hanoi, Vietnam. In this program, students will:

Ten (10) students from the Faculty of Agriculture will participate in this program. The main contents of the training program are as follows:

  • Laboratory trainning
  • Classes related to food, agriculture, and biotechnology (conducted in English)
  • Site visits


Two thirds of the students are supported by a scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), 

The 2023 Kagawa University • Hanoi University of Science and Technology International Internship the program is being implemented under the JASSO Short-Term Program for the Training of Food and Agriculture Specialists for Globalization with two thirds (2/3) of the students supported by a scholarship from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). The program also receives support from the Supporters’ Association of the Faculty of Agriculture. As a safety measure, three faculty members of the Faculty of Agriculture (Assoc. Prof. Lutes, Prof. Ogawa, and Prof. Nomura) accompany the the students during the entire trip.

  1. Participate in Laboratory Activities (experiments and activities that are suitable for first and second year students);
  2. Study Thai Language and Culture;
  3. Experience Thailand through visits to major Thai cultural and historical sights;
  4. Give Presentations about their studies; and
  5. Cooperate and Study with Thai students.

The program is conducted using English. To support student learning, daily Wrap Ups and discussions of each days’ activities are held in English.
