　平成30年8月1日～3日にマレーシアで開催された18th Asian Australasian Animal Production （AAAP） Congressにおいて、農学研究科修士課程2年の堀晃宏さんと修士課程1年の川崎稔弥さんが日本畜産学会から2018 年度日本畜産学会国際会議優秀発表賞を授与されました。堀さんは、「The measurement of weaning rabbit’s cecotrophy mechanism by liquid and solid digesta retention times」、川崎さんは、「The features of the residue generated from household organic waste by Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) as fertilizer」というタイトルでポスター発表を行いました。AAAP Congressは畜産研究者が集まる国際会議で、2年に1度開催され、今回は500を超える演題の参加がありました。
