On December 16, 2023 the 9th Annual Kagawa University English Speech Contest was held at Olive Square. Seventeen participants, including 3 international students , made presentations on the theme of “ Being an Adult”.
Three students from the Faculty of Agriculture joined the contest. All three students received prizes for the excellent effort.
Open Group
1st Prize: Haji Shahrul Hisham Haziq Huthaify Bin, 2nd year
2nd Prize: Takeuchi Seita, 4th year
Restricted Group
2nd Prize: Uehara Koime, 1st year
Prof. Dr. Nomura, Deputy Head of the Global Cafe, presided over the event, with Assoc. Prof. Geraldine McCrohan presenting the awards in two categories, Restricted Group and Open Group.
