Peace as a Global Language International Conference 2024

Peace as a Global Language International Conference 2024

Theme: Technology and AI: Implications for Peace in Communities at the Local and Global Level

I had the honor of attending the Peace as a Global Language International Conference 2024 as an invited speaker, where I presented Funding Your Future: Pathways to Global Collaboration and Sustainable Development in Agricultural Science in Japan. My presentation was aimed at supporting researchers in Japan as well as students and researchers from abroad, highlighting valuable opportunities for international collaboration in agricultural science.

The conference was filled with inspiring presentations, with a special highlight being the plenary session by Professor Washington Okeyo, Vice Chancellor of the Management University of Africa (MUA) in Kenya. His talk, The Ethics of AI and the Role of Universities: A Case Study of Kenya, offered profound insights into the responsibilities of academic institutions in guiding ethical AI development.

It was also a pleasure to connect with many distinguished delegates from the Management University of Africa (MUA) and engage in meaningful discussions on AI, peace, and collaborative growth.

My sincere thanks to the organizing committee for their dedication in making this conference a success.
