On March 13, Prof. Dr. Peter Lutes visited Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and met with Prof. Dr. Loh Teck Chwen, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.
The meeting focused on reviewing the current status of the existing institutional agreement between the two universities. At present, activities under the agreement have primarily involved the Faculty of Medicine, along with student exchange initiatives facilitated through the respective international offices.
During the discussion, both sides explored opportunities to further activate and expand the partnership, particularly in the areas of agriculture and graduate education. There was strong mutual interest in developing more direct academic collaboration between the faculties, as well as enhancing student mobility and research engagement.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to reaffirm institutional ties and identify concrete pathways for future cooperation.
