Kagawa University Co-Hosts the 2nd International Conference on Public Health, Environment, and Education for Sustainable Development Goals and Lifelong Learning

Kagawa University co-hosted the 2nd International Conference on Public Health, Environment, and Education for Sustainable Development Goals and Lifelong Learning hosted by University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD) on June 3 – 4, 2024. Prof. Peter Lutes and Assoc. Prof. Ryo Yanagita represented the Faculty of Agriculture, with Prof. Yumiko Takagi, and Assoc. Prof Yukako Uemura, representing the Faculty of Education and the International Office, respectively.


The main theme of the conference was “Futuring Together,” integrating lifelong learning and sustainable practices for healthier communities and environments. At UBD discussions were held on the future development of research cooperation with the Kagawa University team.

The Faculty of Agriculture held follow discussion with the Faculty of Science on June 5 – 6, 2024. The Faculty of Agriculture looks forward to developing more collaboration with the Faculty of Since as a result for these discussions.
