The Faculty of Agriculture and the Graduate School of Agriculture have a long tradition of excellence in education and research. Undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Agriculture is organized into one unified department, the Department of Applied Biological Science. Graduate studies in the Graduate School of Agriculture is organized into one unified academic division, the Applied Biological Science and Rare Sugar Sciences.

Graduate School of Agriculture: Graduate studies are offered at the masteral and doctoral level. The programs are conducted with the English or Japanese as the languages of instruction. Students may choose which language they wish to study in. Students that choose English as the language of instruction will also be provide with Japanese language lessons to aid with daily like. The Special Master’s Program on Sustainable Food Production & Management course is offered in Japanese with Japanese lanagueg support for professional development.
