Kagawa University Agriculture

The online signing ceremony for the Double Degree Program agreement between the Faculty of Agriculture at Kagawa University and the College of Agriculture at National Chiayi University was successfully concluded on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

The double degree program enables students to study at both the Graduate School of Agriculture, Kagawa University and the Graduate School of Agriculture, National Chiayi University, and earn master’s degrees from each graduate school upon completion. The conclusion of this agreement is expected to provide students with opportunities to study abroad and to promote cooperation and development between both parties, including language proficiency, professional skills, and research experience.

At the ceremony, Prof. Masahiro OGAWA, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kagawa University, and Prof. Rong-Show SHEN, Dean of the College of Agriculture at National Chiayi University, expressed their gratitude for the longstanding exchange between the two faculties and shared their expectations for revitalizing this collaboration through the implementation of the double degree program. Afterwards, the two deans signed the agreement. Lastly, Prof. Peter LUTES, Chair of the International Exchange Committee of the Faculty of Agriculture at Kagawa University and Prof. Yen-Cheng CHIANG, Vice Dean of the College of Agriculture at National Chiayi University, offered congratulatory remarks on the conclusion of this agreement. Prof. LUTES represented Kagawa University at National Chiayi University during the ceremony, alongside two of our third-year undergraduate students, and exchanged commemorative gifts.

The signing ceremony ended successfully in a friendly atmosphere.
